About your Hosts

Matthew Sanderson had ambitions to be a writer long before he heard of role-playing games. Over the last ten years, he has run and played a great many games, but primarily those with a horror theme. He has written for Vampire: The Masquerade (the first role-playing game he ever played), Call of Cthulhu and Trail of Cthulhu.

Tiffany Sanderson has been playing role-playing games since 1993, starting with Vampire: The Masquerade. She spends her time cooking for friends, playing World of Warcraft and enjoying time with her feather babies. Her cooking and hosting prowess comes from years of soaking in the Food Network before moving to the UK from the USA, with a pinch of intuition and talent.

Happy Halloween!

This time of the year is my favourite! I'm not a fan of the cold, I have to admit, but I do enjoy the falling of the leaves and all the spooky activities that come along with the autumn time!

I decided this year to make some spooky treats using an air brush machine we recently acquired for the Eldritch Cocktail Lodge. I am still a newbie using it, but I think I've made some early progress with the help of YouTube tutorials. I thought I would share some pictures of what I made for Paul Fricker's Halloween 2018 Bash.

These do look like they are chocolate, but they are in fact simply vanilla. I typically enjoy making cocktail cupcakes, this time I thought it would be a bit nicer for those not driving to enjoy them too. Simply follow my original Cupcake and Icing Recipe, but decorate with vivid colours.

I like to use ProGel Professional Rainbow Colours as recommended from a local baking shop. They can be pricey, but they do come out in vivid colours and a little goes a very long way.

Another attempt I made was using edible stage blood to try and create 'vampire bites' into on to my icing. I found a video on YouTube and it worked wonderfully. We also used it to dribble along the inside of our Cocktail Glasses at the party and worked a treat, as it is made with a sugar syrup it gave an interesting affect to the drink with barely affecting the flavours if at all.

Sorry I didn't take a photo of the Cocktails.

So, here you go, photos of the process, I hope you enjoy them!

And as always, if you enjoy my photography, baking or anything else I do please think about joining as one of our Patreons! Thank you for visiting!

Patreon... Photography.... Cakes...

Hello!

We are back! There was an issue with my (Tiffany) computer dying and not being able to edit photos very well on a temporary laptop. We are back now with better equipment, my own office space and various ambitious plans in mind.

Currently we are sitting in our own home (I know, adulting). We are working on a kickstarter scenario as well as dreamlands and other bits and bobs that will be released in the future.

At present I am trying to get assistance to obtain Photography Insurance and a UK Driving License so I can get to more gigs and conventions.

In the meantime, if you'd like to help bring this all back into life once more, please check out our patreon account. Every little helps!

And have a little gander at my new photography website: http://www.eldritchphotography.com

Cheers!
